My Makeup Collection & Storage

img_5855img_5858img_5857FINALLY. FINALLY! I FINALLY have some decent makeup storage and I’m completely buzzing. I’ve stored my makeup in a load of rubbish little pots and things for years and years but as I’m a makeup addict I had too much, it overflowed. So I sorted out and got rid of a ton of old/rubbish makeup including some lip glosses I got free from a kids magazine probably 3, maybe 4 years ago. Then I waited about a month and FINALLY this weekend got myself some acrylic drawers that I have been wanting for ages.

Also I’m ill and I didn’t have the day off school when I should’ve done so I had 3 nose bleeds, yay. Perks of being me.

My makeup is kind of sorted into palettes on the left, then face, eye and lip drawers, then more lip products and brushes. Except that not everything fits properly so some is just a bit random. The drawers themselves are the OSCO Acrylic 3 Drawer Chest (A6H)  – I actually ordered the smallest ones and I thought they would be bigger but they were TINY and cause I ordered them with Click & Collect I went into the store and found these ones for £6.50 (I know! And the tiny ones were £9 too!) but I can’t find them online anywhere.

This is the drawer full of primers, concealers, cheek products, and loads of Benefit minis. You can probably tell I have no foundations in here because I just don’t wear them and I have a BB cream which was too awkward a shape but I’m just more of a concealer girl. My favourite products in here have to be the really mini Porefessional cause it’s adorable, plus High Beam as its INSANELY glowy and gorgeous and the Revolution trio (blush, bronzer and highlight) that’s underneath. I never used to reach for any of this that much because it was in an awkward place but now I should get so much more use out of them.

Basically full of eyeshadows, plus the Seventeen Shimmer Brick which didn’t fit in the face drawer but was my holy grail highlighter for months and I still love it, although Mary Lou is my FAVE now. My favourite of these are definitely the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze, the Benefit mini cream shadows you can see at the front and the Tanya Burr glitter liners on the right. I’m obsessed with eyeshadow though and other than lipstick, it’s definitely the product I have the most of.

So this drawer is pretty empty and there are quite a few random things in here cause I have most of my lip products in a different section to the side. I have a mineral L’Oreal brush, a Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer which is an annoying shape, the empty They’re Real Mascara that I’m mouring, and Collection No Clumps which is a great dupe for that for only £3. My favourite actual lip products in here are the Sleek Matte Me in Birthday Suit, Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107 and the Collection Cream Puff in Fairy Cake.

In terms of palettes, check out my Battle of the Palettes post. There’s also a few new ones that I got for Christmas so if you want a review of any of those let me know. On top of the drawers I have the Garnier Micellar Water and Nivea Lip Butter because I use them EVERY SINGLE DAY and a makeup bag with my holy grail, everyday products which will be featured in my school makeup post coming soon. In terms of brushes they are mainly Real Techniques, a few from Naked palettes and some from Seventeen (which includes my favourite blending brush ever here).

img_5878MORE LIP PRODUCTS CAUSE I’M OBSESSED
Do you know how aesthetically pleasing this is?? I store them all in this old perfume box and there’s also a couple of eyeliners and a lip liner. There’s three of everything and it’s so satisying – 3 Tanya Burr lip glosses, 3 Seventeen Lipsticks, 3 mini Sleek Matte Me liquid lipsticks, and my most favourite favourite part EVER – the 3 MAC lipsticks I LOVE: Hot Gossip, my all time favourite Velvet Teddy and the newest addition Whirl.

I know it’s not as beautiful as some peoples (um Katy’s just LOOK) but I’m so happy with it compared to what it used to look like. I do also have fairy lights above it but they didn’t fit in shot. Let me know what you think!
